After a bar tour last night we met up at lunch to go to Torremolinos.
Ended up getting alot of stuff there, a good day.
On Tuesday we might go to Sevilla if we can find a guide there...

First day of Malaga

Got up at 04.00 am this morning for the flight, and since the rain had dried up when I got there we went on a mission.
Ended up with a nice still and a sequense, and of course this shot of Spängan posing up a bs nosebluntslide.

Off to Malaga in a few hours...

In a few hours I´m off to the airport here in Stockholm.
Overweight and extra luggage...

Ghetto ring flash

I just pre-ordered a Elinchrome ring flash head for my quadras.
I wanted to get it now all tough first deliverance is in Marc-April.
So what do you do? you build one from cardboard and a SB-800 flash.
The result was ok but way to scetchy do depend on at a real shoot. Alway fun to build stuff tough...

Phottix Atlas - First impressions

Since my Pocket Wizards started living their own life I decided to get a set of new ones.

Tried a set of Phottix Atlas out this weekend and orderd a set that arrived today.
The feel of them is basicly the same as Pocket Wizards, same quality feel.
Probably made at the same factory, he he.
Also you get two cords one mini-plug to mini-plug and one mini-plug to PC with a screw ring, batterys, thing for hanging them on tripods/lenses etc.


The reasons I chose these over Pocket Wizards are as follows:

These are about half the price of the Pocket wizard.

Same range as Pocket Wizards.

They have the same frequency as the Pocket Wizard, and also work fine with them.
Same 4 channels.

They shoot 10 fps.

They sync on a 1/500 sec with leafshutter lenses, 1/250 on dslr cameras.

They have a hot-shoe on top of them so you don´t need any extra colshoes to connect you standard flash to your tripod.
This also makes it possible to shot with a Phottix Atlas on your camera and a Skyport connected to that.
(if you are shooting with Elinchrome rangers that have built in Skyport recevers and some other flashes)





I´ll try them out during the next trip to Barcelona and Malaga to see how they work out on the field.
More on that later.

Stockholm finest - Ronin Messenger Company

Did a shoot with them yesterday. The theme of the shoot was Oranges and with them try to show what their cargobike and bags could take, and do it with something else than boxes etc.
So Oranges it was.
This will be in pamphlet that will be sent out to office´s.

Haven´t had time to do the post on the rest.
Will post them as soon as I get time to finish them.
